Recruitment of Evaluation Committee Members for the Busan RISE Innovation Institute

To enhance the transparency and validity of performance management and equipment procurement under the Busan-type RISE initiative, we invite applications for Performance Evaluation Management Committee Members and Equipment Procurement Review Committee Members.   • Main Roles
    1. Assessing the validity and achievement of RISE performance indicators and providing advisory support
    2. Verifying the reliability of performance data submitted by universities (e.g., document review, sample checks)
    3. Identifying best practices and recommending improvements
    4. (Evaluation) Project selection, annual/mid-term evaluations of Busan RISE Innovation Institute projects
    5. (Advisory) Establishing and revitalizing the Busan-type Open UIC system, providing consulting for university performance enhancement, and advising on Institute operations

      • Experts in Busan·s Five Future Core Industries (Power Semiconductors, Secondary Batteries, Future Aviation, Digital Finance, Digital Healthcare)
      • Experts in the Nine Strategic Industries (Marine Industry, Finance, Culture & Tourism, Future Mobility, Convergence Components & Materials, Lifestyle, Digital Tech, Energy Tech, Biohealth)

  • General Eligibility Requirements
    1. Individuals with a high understanding of the RISE initiative, professional expertise in related fields, and the ability to provide fair evaluations and consultations

    2. Preference given to individuals with evaluation experience in university financial support projects

    1. Recruitment for the expert pool of the Equipment Procurement Review Committee under the Busan-type Regional Innovation-Centered University Support System
    2. Eligible Applicants: Industry, academia, research institutions, and other professionals
    3. Technical Fields (8): Basic Science, Life Science, Medicine, Marine/Aerospace/Astronomy, Energy/Environment, Urban/Construction/Transportation, Mechanical Components/Materials, Information/Electronics/Communication
  • Main Roles
    1. Reviewing the feasibility of research facility/equipment purchases between KRW 30 million and KRW 100 million proposed by institutions (e.g., universities) under the Busan RISE system
    2. Evaluating projects based on alignment with RISE objectives, duplication, utilization, appropriateness, and operational planning
  • Required Documents
    1. Application Form for Committee Membership (Form 1)
    2. Consent Form for Collection and Use of Personal Information (Form 2)
    3. Proof of Expertise (e.g., degree, experience, or certifications)
  • General Eligibility Requirements
    1. At least seven years of relevant professional experience in the applicable technical field
    2. At least five years of research and development experience in the relevant field
    3. Full-time lecturer or higher in a related field at a university
